Nelson tremendously helps in Viva discussion with examiners.
The charts given in book help in explaining the causes for a certain diagnosis in Viva questions. Say for example, what are the causes of the genetic syndrome with organomegaly or causes of stroke in children. But on the flip side, some of us like me cling over to Nelson too much, forgetting that practical aspects can not be entrirely covered by theorotical knowledge.

The cardiovascular system is given with amazing simplicity. The general examination is again very good. Although Hutchisons is a clear winner, this book is a very good alternative.
